Key responsibilities:

  • Using PPS to process all incoming invoices.
    - Invoices are sent directly to our operators who send through to our in house payment system. We then check all details correct, voucher and process and pass to treasury for payment
    - Meeting all payment deadlines
  • Preparing invoicing for funds due
    - Understanding of contracts, market pricing and bank requirements for the creation of invoices
    - Understanding of VAT requirements for invoicing
    - Invoicing sales side of trades for company to receive funds on prompt due date
    - Chasing of funds that are not received
  • Collating inspector invoices
    - Company receive many inspections invoices
    - Junior ops are responsible for chasing operators to keep on top of paying these invoices and when necessary providing counterparties with a breakdown of costs
  • Obtaining swift copies of payments from Treasury when counterparty is claiming non receipt
  • Vouchering incoming funds to company
    - Company receive a lot of funds from counterparties that have no reference. Junior Ops are responsible for investigating what these funds are for and creating vouchers
  • Assisting accounts/treasury and any other departments with queries
  • Use of Tempest software and learning ability to use various related in house programmes
  • General assistance to any operator as and when required
