Business Development Manager
Fuel Sales, Supply and Storage
Well established family run fuel oil distributor is looking for an experienced oil industry Business Development professional.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Proactively developing business within all non domestic sectors including commercial, agricultural and industrial.
Working from CODAS system contacting lapsed and new prospects.
Building relationship, marketing and securing orders for bulk fuel as well as identifying opportunities to sell bolt on products such as additives, lubricants, storage tanks, gauges, fuel cards etc
There is an expectation to be depot based around 70-80% of your working week and then be out visiting your clients, building relationships for 20-30% of your time.
Working as part of sales team covering the geographical sales territory of predominantly Derbyshire but also parts of Staffordshire and Northern Leicestershire .
During colder months, some inbound sales activity will be required.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Proven bulk fuel/oil industry experience essential
Business development experience essential - not necessarily field based, depot based sales experience is highly desirable too.
Driving licence essential.
Ideally have a portfolio of contacts from a previous role in the local area although any bulk fuel sales experience will be considered.
